Saturday. The last of the faire duties beckoned so Marita Beth and I headed out to faire early (so as to beat the heat) and started the packing and sorting and organising that is required to enable the booth to stay relatively critter-free for 10 months. We got there much earlier than we had anticipated so by the time Terrill called to offer assistance I decided to turn it down. His drive is so long, he’d have been on the road longer than he would have been there to help. So, thanks for the offer Terrill. Rod also called with the unfortunate news that he would be unable to make it. Hang in there, Rod. It’ll look up soon! Tracy, Jorge & family did come out and were a huge help. They cleaned, organised and packed down the back room. Thank you!!
Poogles Pub
As we were leaving, and deciding to go to No Frills Grill for much-required food and beer, Marcus called. So, he joined us at NFG and we laughed and ate and enjoyed each others company. And thus the faire ended.
