The Sunday of a decadent, do-nothing weekend and we went searching for a burger for lunch. We started to head to No Frills Grill, but decided against it and headed toward central Arlington to visit either the 50s diner or Captain Billy Whizzbangs. However, as we passed Bobby Vs we pulled in there to take advantage of their numerous televisions, cheap beer and good burgers.
I love visiting Bobby Vs due to the amazing amount of sporting memorabilia scattered throughout the restaurant. That includes the serious number of baseball & football cards that have been encased in each and every table in the joint.
Bobby V's
I can’t help but marvel at the incredible insurance policy that must be on the place. There are signed footballs, baseballs, bats, hats, helmets, jerseys &c. from decades of collecting through the entire restaurant. I shudder to think of the sentimental & financial loss should anything happen. Here’s hoping nothing ever does happen.
Cheers.
