It’s dead quiet at the office today. Beautifully, wonderfully quiet. So much work can get done when the interruptions are kept to a minimum. When the phone remains silent. When the meetings are no longer filling the calendar. When the management is all gone and adhoc report requests aren’t coming in fast & furious. I love the holiday season for this very reason.

The early evening was filled with a trip from one Latin restaurant to another. I had to meet with Damaris, the owner & chef at Mi Tierra Latin Fusion restaurant about website design. Turns out, I was a week too late, and she’d already done a website. Chalk that one up to unfortunately procrastination in conjunction with travelling. We had an appetizer and I took a photo of the light cover in her foyer.

From there we headed to the West Side to meet with friends for dinner at a locally-owned Tex-Mex restaurant stopping at the newly-opened Goody-Goody flagship store (holy cow!!!).
Two completely different dining experiences, but both lovely.
