Friday, and the weekly trip to TRF. This time, for the first time in close to 20 years, I visited the campgrounds. Times have certainly changed. Gone are the days when Marita Beth & I would show up on Friday night and share a small intimate campsite with maybe 2 dozen other families. Completely gone. The current method of camping for TRF is to outdo your neighbours in a huge way. It’s led to Camping in Excess and it’s brilliant!
Camping in Style
This is the Blazing Sun pavilion and a small section of friends. Many of the others that were in attendance had already retired for the night attempting to sleep through the loud drum jam and drunken reveling going on nearby. I’m hoping maybe next year, Marita Beth can join me in my foray to the unknown.
Cheers.
