Crazy Quilt Corner

5 September 2008

When I build a crazy quilt, I do the piecing by machine, and I build squares.  After creating a bunch of squares of whatever size I’ve chosen, I then trim them to the exact size, and start sewing them together.  In so doing, I create “four corners” zones where four squares all come together, like Utah, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona do on a map of the American Southwest.  This photos shows on of those corner joints.

This is the blanket I cuddle under for TV and movie-watching in the wintertime when I’m cold.

Still feeling too icky to be more creative with my photography than that.  My fitting with Lionel and Crystal went well.  Now it’s time to pack for TRF.
