Shadow Chains Saturday, Sep 6 2008

4 September 2008
Are the shadows of chains any less real than the chains themselves? Are they just as binding, constricting & limiting as the real article? Some would say so.
Shadows
I watched Palin’s speech (from two days ago) last night just before I watched McCain’s speech (from last night). For many, I would imagine, the shadowy chains of the past still haunt & bind the presidential hopeful. Palin’s chains are of a much more esoteric type, but still binding in the eyes of some and no less real. Last week I watched Hillary & Obama give their speeches (I missed Biden). That presidential hopeful, on the side of the democrats, and his cadre of supporters also have shadow chains that are every bit as real & constricting as those of McCain & Palin. Only the substance of the chains and the subject of the tether point are different.
I make no judgments, I make no predictions, I merely comment on what I see & read.
Cheers.

At times, this is the best I can manage.
Smile!
At this point, I was tired, frustrated and completely unable to smile without some help. I’m over that now.
Cheers.

Some days I like my job, some days I don’t. This was a don’t day.
The drudgery of scanner repair sometimes just wears me down.

Cheers.
