Blueberries in a Pink Bowl

2 September 2008

Self-explanatory photo—I like the contrast of the colours.

Today went like this:  rise, breakfast, clean, pack, clean, pack, pack, pack, fold, pack, clean, pack, pack, pack, pack, pack, pack, pack, label, pack, label, pack, pack, pack, pack, pack, count, pack, pack, pack, pack, pack, pack, pack, pack . . .

You get the picture.

The good news is, that with the help of some amazingly wonderful people, the booth stock was packed by about six o’clock!  We even had time to pack down most of my A Wardrobe in Time product, and, get this:  I even got to take a shower before heading to O’Hare (by way of Fed Ex).  I shipped two big tubs to Ian in Michigan, and twelve more to Jim in California.  Even the air freight experience was a positive one this year—Continental seems to have their act together.  Sean and Amber went with me to the airport and we were back on the faire site by 10: 30 p.m.  Easily a record!

Now, tomorrow, I hope to pack the trailer. Joy.
