Another grotesque that guards the house.
Guardian Grotesque
I love the word, grotesque. According to the The Concise Oxford Dictionary of English Etymology Dated 1996

grotesque
1)decorative painting or sculpture with fantastic interweaving of forms
2)fantastically extravagant
3)ludicrously incongruous
Etymologically speaking, it is said to be due to the Roman application of grotta to chambers of old buildings.

Hah. Grotesque!
Cheers.
