The Globe Gets a Face Lift

1 July 2008

One of the fun things about Renaissance Faires is you never know what new and beautiful thing the faire will have done to keep things fresh.  New acts, new pubs, new stages . . . well, this Stage is old, but it sure looks new, now!  It seriously needed it, but they’ve done a fabulous job with it!

Today was a fairly relaxing day of me doing stuff alone, and at a comfortable, detail-oriented pace.  It was good.  No staff today—tomorrow they’ll be back to help again, and Larry will be here, too!  I dragged Kelly with me to Menards tonight, and then to Applebee’s.   I do love that they’ll make me any salad on their menu with spinach instead of iceberg lettuce!

Tired, now.
