@@Starr
I, too, love the GPS concept until it led me astray. I had the unfortunate circumstance last week of trying to drive from the San Jose Cargo Facility to the San Francisco Cargo facility. My Garmin Where2Go system supplied by Avis led me an hour the wrong direction (call it South, because I don't recall) only to have me exit the highway, turn left under it, then head North (see above note). This led me past where I was to eventually get to my final destination nearly two hours late. In an unfamiliar area, such as I was, it was nightmarishly incorrect. But, that's only one example. Most of the time, it's spot on. It provides directions, a time estimate and before you know it, Bob's your Uncle and you're there.

We *love* our Garmin. (We call ours "Garmina") She got us all over Rocky Mountain National Park and elsewhere all over Colorado without even a hitch. The only thing she seemed to mess up on was every once in a while she would lead us to a business that no longer existed. I'm sure it's MEGA hard to keep up with every single change like that in the whole country, though!! My absolute favorite feature is the Arrival Time. I don't know how she does it, but on short trips, she's down to the MINUTE. On the way to & from Colorado, Joe and I enjoyed seeing how many minutes we could shave off of her estimate.

I LOVED the Sinclair dino as a kid. I had a stuffed one, and a blow-up one in Utah. I miss them in our area.

Kelly has a swanky new living space? Tell her to post!

Thanks, Jerry. Not sure if you folks are the vendor from which I bought it or not, but like you said, their beauty makes it worth the price. If it really works the way the say it does, that's a bonus for me.
Cheers.

Caught your posting on Salt Lamps. While we get all kinds of testimonials from people who feel that they are breathing more freely in the presence of their Salt Lamp.

On our site, Salt Lamp Creations, we tell how the Salt is mined and formed into Lamps, but we stress that we are not Doctors and therefore do not feel it is in our purvey to make promises of the efficacy of the Salt Lamps in curing any ailments. It can be likened to the Snake Oil salesman that would say anything to sell his elixir.

What was cool about them to me was first that they glowed so beautifully! Then I found out that the salt was said to be 250 million years old. This made me think of how short the human life is and how magnificent Mother Nature's handiwork can be.
