A long dirty, humid day at the Faire doing final prep work. Opening day is only 6 days away. At the end of it all was delicious Tex-Mex at the local Campuzano’s in Waxahachie, great company (Rod, Denise, Donny, Mary & Marita Beth) and a photo of my feet:

Yeah, that’s all I could muster.
Cheers.

Was the gravel road leading to a bowling alley?

Terrill, you’re funny. It took me a whole day to figure out what the heck you were talking about! Finally, I got it.
No, no bowling alley. Those aren’t bowling shoes—they’re cool European-style tennies. The big, clunky white faux-leather athletic shoes that most Americans wear are (in my humble opinion) ugly and ubiquitous and I hate them. These are cool. And I love that my husband thinks so, too! He also has a black pair that are equally cool.
He doesn’t have quite the shoe fetish I have, but he owns more shoes than most guys I know!
So, now . . . when are we going bowling?
