Abstract Dots Monday, Mar 24 2008

23 March 2008
MB went to Costume Parade. I stayed home and worked on the East Wind Games website and did some CAD work trying to render an architectural drawing for the festival. Since I intend to build out my back room, the faire needs to be notified. That means showing them architectural plans, materials & personnel long before the building begins. *sigh*
Because I worked on the computer all day, I did not take any photos. Save this one:
Abstract Wrapper
During the workshop Marita Beth held on Saturday, she received a couple of bottles of wine as gifts. This is the wrapper on one of those bottles.
Cheers.

Pirates over East Wind Games Monday, Mar 24 2008

22 March 2008
Two Saturdays before Scarborough Renaissance Festival starts. That means it’s time to get as many friends together as possible and do a whole scad of cleaning. The booth gathers quite a bit of dirt, dust & creepy-crawlies over a year of non-use. This photo was taken at the very end of a long, filthy day. The pirate flag is flying, and the new East Wind Games sign is hung:

Wish me luck for the upcoming season.
Cheers.

The Collection Monday, Mar 24 2008

21 March 2008
I have long-ish hair. I’m also male. That means I don’t fit the corporate mold. It also means that I must pull it back into a hair-damaging pony-tail for my entire work day. One of the first things I do when I begin my drive home is unfetter the locks from their bonds. So, I sometimes gather quite a collection of the hairties on one of the steering column switches. As you see here:

Cheers.

Victorian Kiss Monday, Mar 24 2008

20 March 2008
One of our first visits to Dickens on the Strand in Galveston, TX. Marita Beth made the clothing we’re both wearing. The photo was taken by our dear friend Ginger who subsequently also had it mounted and framed.

The reflections are a little distracting, but I can’t put a polarizer on this camera.
Cheers.
