Raindrops on Windscreens Thursday, Mar 6 2008

3 March 2008
It’s a downward spiral. I get behind, I try to get caught up; but, while I’m trying to get caught up, I get further behind.
This was a rainy day. On the way home, I pressed the camera up close to the windscreen and focused in on the droplets as they formed on the windscreen. I took several. I like this one best, but didn’t really care, as much as I wanted to, for the results.
Raindrops
Cheers.

Bodice for Nicci

5 March 2008

Another work day.  This one at least saw the completion of a garment.  Pictured here is the cute little bodice I made for a young lady who plays a Scarborough townswoman.  Her linen skirt will be finished tomorrow.  Kelly, meanwhile, has been working on a pair of outfits for her and me to wear to Melanie and David’s wedding.  We did bodice fittings today for each other, and Kelly got her underskirt almost done.  I’m going to use one I already had, except for an alteration that Kelly did so quickly today, it made my head spin!

We worked a very long day . . . it’s midnight-thirty and Kelly just left!  There are many more long days ahead in the next three weeks!  I’m calling this one done, now.
