The Drive Home Monday, Apr 2 2007

View Through a Window
An amazingly violent downpour this evening. This is the tailend of the storm that ripped through West Texas spawning numerous tornados and displacing thousands of people through flooding. My windshield wipers are on and going at full speed, but with fortuitous timing they do not appear in the image. What you can see however, is the massive amounts of rain that hit the windscreen between each wipe. It was an extremley dangerous, very slow drive home.
Cheers

Top Down on a Candle
One of joys of my house is my wife’s tendency to garden. She keeps a wonderful garden in the front yard of Texas friendly plants. In the house, she tends a candle garden that is beyond belief. This is one of those candles under her care.
Cheers.
