Name That Tree

I was privileged today, to be taking Kyle to work and therefore be introduced to his favourite photo spot.  He’s right to love this spot, it’s pretty cool–lots of interesting things and off the beaten path just enough.  I promised him just now, to treat the spot with the proper amount of respect . . . and not to use it very often!  :-)

We’d love to know what sort of tree this is.  If anybody out there has any clue—please let us know.  Perhaps, Kyle will be willing to get a “close-up” of the pretty blooms the tree has just sprouted.

We both took photos this morning in the same spot.  I’ll be interested to see if  our photos are anything alike.    Me—-I’m just happy to be able to post a photo that wasn’t taken at our house!
